These Terms and Conditions apply to all promotions operated by C-Screens Limited (“Promoter”), unless otherwise specified in a specific Promotion Schedule.

  1. Introduction

1.1 These General Promotion Terms and Conditions (“Master Terms”) set out the standard legal framework that applies to all promotional prize draws, competitions or similar interactive promotions run by the Promoter. These Master Terms must be read in conjunction with the relevant promotion-specific schedule (“Promotion Schedule”), which sets out the specific mechanics, entry requirements, prize details, and timings for a particular promotion.

1.2 Together, the Master Terms and the relevant Promotion Schedule (together, the “Full Terms”) form the complete agreement between the Promoter and the entrant in relation to the applicable promotion. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Master Terms and the Promotion Schedule, the terms set out in the Promotion Schedule shall prevail. Please retain a copy for your information.

 

  1. Eligibility

2.1 All Promotions are open to residents of Great Britain aged 18 and over, unless otherwise stated in the promotion-specific schedule.

2.2 Employees and their immediate family members of the Promoter, its group companies, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are excluded from participating.

2.3 Entry is restricted to one per person unless stated otherwise in the promotion-specific schedule. Entrants who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.

2.4 Entries from syndicates, consumer groups, third parties or automated entries (e.g., via script or bot) are not permitted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is reposting the same content multiple times or using a computer(s) to circumvent this or any other condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

2.5 Incomplete, illegible, invalid or misdirected entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.

2.6 Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries by means of a computer process that generates verifiably random results, within 7 days of the promotion close date.

2.7 The Promoter reserves the right to ask for proof of age, identity, or eligibility and may withhold prize delivery until such verification is completed.

 

  1. Entry Requirements

3.1 It is the entrant’s responsibility to review the latest terms corresponding to the relevant promotional campaign before entering.

3.2 Specific promotion entry requirements are set out in relevant Promotion Schedule.

3.3 No purchase necessary unless otherwise stated.

3.4 Valid email and internet access may be required.

3.5 Entrants must provide valid, up-to-date information and are responsible for ensuring their details are correct at the point of entry and prize acceptance. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.

3.6 The Promoter may amend these terms at any time without prior notice.

3.7 If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, traffic congestion, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, modify terms or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

 

  1. Prize Fulfilment and Verification

4.1 Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and eligibility.

4.2 The Promoter may withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse participation if it suspects fraud, breach of terms, or misuse of the promotion.

4.3 Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. The prizes are neither sponsored nor endorsed by any third party unless otherwise stated.

4.4 No cash or alternative prizes will be provided in whole or in part. We reserve the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value should this be necessary, at our absolute discretion in the event of circumstances outside of our control.

4.5 Prizes lost, stolen, or damaged after delivery are not the responsibility of the Promoter and will not be replaced.

4.6 Winners (and guests, where applicable) may be required to sign waivers, consents or publicity release forms before claiming the prize. Failure to sign required documentation may result in forfeiture of a prize. 

4,7 The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for proof of ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent). The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent means.

 

  1. Data Protection

5.1 By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set in the Full Terms and in accordance with our Privacy Policy which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion . If you are required to submit another person’s personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that you have their consent to provide us and our  prize provider with their personal data.

5.2 Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current Data Protection legislation. Data will be stored for 24 months after the close of the promotion before deletion, unless otherwise required for prize fulfilment. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to privacy@c-screens.com .By participating in the Promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described.

5.3 The Promoter may make available major prize winner’s surname and county of residence to members of the public or regulators who request such details within 3 months of the closing date of this promotion. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting prize@c-screens.com . The Promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority or appropriate regulatory body if required to do so. You may request a copy of the winners list by emailing prize@c-screens.com .The Promoter reserves the right to refuse such requests.

5.4 You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us when you enter a Promotion. If you choose to opt-in, we will use your personal data for marketing purposes (see C-Screens Privacy Policy for more details). You can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time by unsubscribing.

5.5 Personal data may be transferred outside the UK or EEA solely for the purpose of prize administration and with adequate safeguards.

 

  1. Publicity and Rights

6.1 The Promoter may request to photograph, film or record winners and use these materials in connection with the promotion, with permission.

6.2 The Promoter will make available a list of main prize winners’ surnames and counties of residence to members of the public or regulators who request such details within 3 months of the closing date of the relevant promotion. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting prize@c-screens.com [insert email address]. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. You may request a copy of the winners list by emailing prize@c-screens.com [insert email address]. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse such requests.

6.3 Winners may be asked, but are not obliged, to provide publicity materials and agree to participate in promotional activity.

6.4 You agree that the Promoter, Promotion Partners, and sponsors if applicable may, but are not required to, make your entry available on its website and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the promotion. You agree to grant the Promoter and media partners a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the promotion entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the promotion entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes. Entrants agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use where the moral rights in respect of the content are theirs to assert. 

 

  1. Liability and Force Majeure

7.1 The Promoter is not liable for:

7.1.1 Loss, damage, or delay caused by third parties or network failures.

7.1.2 Events beyond its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, epidemics, war).

7.1.3 Misuse or failure to redeem prizes by the recipient.

7.2 If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions (including but not limited to global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God), the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

7.3 The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion, the fulfilment of the prizes and/or the use of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

7.4 The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.

7.5 Services related to the promotion may be suspended without notice for maintenance, fault, or technical failure.

7.6 Entrants must comply with all instructions, laws, regulations, and requirements associated with the prize, and failure to do so may result in forfeiture.

 

  1. Disputes and Jurisdiction

8.1 These Terms and Conditions (and any non-contractual issues which arise out of or in connection with them) are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless you live in another part of the United Kingdom in which case your local laws and courts will have jurisdiction.

8.2 Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

8.3 The Promoter’s decision is final in all matters.

8.4 Entrants agree that entry does not form a commercial relationship with the Promoter.

8.5 If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
